Aden Hotel Mudgee

The recently renovated room was so comfortable, with lovely touches like chocolates and complimentary water. Jade & Lisa were friendly and accommodating, and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Great location too. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and would definitely return. 10/10 for the room and the two lovely staff members.

The Aden Motel is about a 20-minute walk from the town centre, and about 10 minutes from a fabulous French patisserie. Ask Peter where to find it! The exterior is due to be refurbished soon as part of the full renovation, supposedly ready by next July, so don’t judge the place by its outside. Inside, the rooms have been extensively renovated and look amazing, as good as anywhere we’ve stayed. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning was on to warm it before we arrived. There was always plenty of hot water and good shower pressure, plus tea and coffee facilities and complimentary bottled water. We stayed two nights and were impressed from the warm welcome at reception to the friendly service from Peter, the weekend manager. We felt welcome and confident that almost anything we needed would be taken care of. We’ll be back to Mudgee and will definitely stay at Aden Motel again. Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality, professionalism and friendliness!

The bed was extremely comfortable and gave us a good night’s sleep, and the shower was great. The rooms are clean, well appointed and recently fully renovated. Staff were friendly and pleasant. They offer room service, but we chose to walk into town and explore, so I can’t comment on the restaurant. I was told that it’s also going to be completely updated very soon. A great place to stay, and you won’t be disappointed if you choose it.

The rooms are lovely, with nice linen, pillows and a comfortable bed. Bathroom and shower head are great, and the staff are professional and nice. It’s handy to have the car right outside your door. They seem to be upgrading the outside, and it should be better once that’s finished. You can hear cars from the main road, though the traffic is light at night so it wasn’t a problem then. It’s an easy, flat 1.5 km walk to the town centre, even nicer if you take the back streets. I’d stay here again.
