Good value and a comfortable stay, with clean beds, plush towels, and a hot shower with decent pressure. There was AC, places to eat nearby, and an EV charger a five-minute walk away. It’s about a 20-minute drive from Byron Bay. Our room was high up by the road, so there was some traffic noise, though bird song was more common. The beds don’t isolate movement, but they were comfortable and there were extra blankets for the cold. Easy on the wallet too.

The room was okay for the price, but we couldn’t hear the TV over the noise from the ex servicemens club. If you need to sleep before 11pm, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. They also gave our key to someone else, who walked into our room while we were dressed. We didn’t feel sure it wouldn’t happen again, so we ordered food delivery instead of going out to eat.

A friend stays there and says it’s clean and functional. It’s in a great spot, though you have to pick up the key from Middle Pub.

Beds were comfortable, and the room was mostly tidy and clean, though there was mould in the bathroom. Reception is at the pub up the road, which took some figuring out. I went for a walk and eventually found it there after asking several people. Quite an experience. There wasn’t much parking at the hotel, and it wasn’t secured.

We had to clean blood-smeared handprints from the back of the door and its handle. It felt like a scene from a horror movie, and the place was noisy as hell. We only ended up here at the last minute because of a booking problem at another venue. It was cheap, though, $155 for the night.
