I was glad I picked Mulwala Resort while passing through the Yarrawonga/Mulwala area in late November. The place is quiet, tidy and well cared for, with a relaxed, welcoming feel and a trendy vibe. Staff were friendly and easy to approach, and everything from arrival to leaving went smoothly. My room was spotless and well presented, and the bed was genuinely comfortable after a long day on the road. I’d happily stay again for the clean rooms, good bed and solid service.

The pool is huge and clean, with plenty of loungers and cabanas, and the camp kitchens are the best I’ve seen indoors or out. They have cooking appliances, lots of tables and chairs, large TVs, and a couple of big fridges and freezers, so there’s little reason to leave the resort to cook. Outside, there are palm trees and several cool places to sit and lounge. The rooms are modern and very clean, with a small kitchenette and lots of attention to how they look. It sits between Club Mulwala and Mulwala Ski Club. New owners took over this once-run-down motel 5-6 years ago and turned it into a welcoming tropical resort. Congratulations on the transformation. We’ll be back without hesitation.

Laurie and Michelle made us feel very welcome, and it was clear they put a lot of care into keeping guests happy. Even little touches like umbrellas at reception and communal sunscreen by the lovely pool were appreciated. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we’ll be back :)

I spent two weeks here for work with my whole team, and we had such a good time. The location is lovely, and the quaint accommodation feels gorgeous, homey and welcoming, with all the comforts of home. Michelle was so lovely to deal with that it felt like staying with friends. Thanks to Michelle and her hubby for having us. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

The owners were the friendliest and most accommodating, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The resort felt like home. I’m looking forward to coming back next week, and please give Bucks a few treats from me too!
