Narooma Golfers Lodge

Leanne and I spent seven nights at golfers lodge Narooma, and we loved our stay. The owners were friendly and always ready to help, and they kept everything immaculate. Our room was clean and well furnished, with views of the ocean and golf course. It was close to the shops, clubs, and those spectacular Narooma beaches. I asked the day before checkout whether we had to leave at 10am, and the owner said we could stay another few hours and enjoy the place. I’ve never heard that before! For what I paid, I expected better. The bathroom was small and dated, with a stained toilet seat and a broken toilet roll holder. A replacement seat can be bought at Bunnings for under $20, so there wasn't much excuse for it. The stove tops were rusty, and the opposite hot plates in the self-contained unit didn't work either. There was also a safety concern with the light above the bed: it had come off its mount and had exposed wires, which could cause serious problems for management and guests if someone played with it. I stayed recently and wasn't impressed with the room, despite what earlier reviews suggested. I saw the hostess when I arrived, then didn't see management or staff again. It definitely wasn't the treatment described in the other highly rated reviews, and the stay wasn't worth the price.

We only stayed two nights, but the room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Ours was on the top floor, and the view was priceless. It was good value, with friendly staff and plenty of parking spaces out back. A beautiful place to stay.

Our place was a funky, modern, stand-alone two-bedroom apartment overlooking the water. You could see the water from the main bedroom and the self-contained kitchen. The owners were lovely, kind, and helpful, and the hospitality was great. There are one and two-bedroom apartments here. 😍
