At 9:30pm, after we locked ourselves out of our holiday rental, we needed somewhere at the last minute. The lady we called was really understanding and let us stay in a comfortable room. It was nice, and we didn't have to spend the night in the car. I'm grateful to her.

A really good atmosphere, and the place is quiet and well presented. The rooms are spacious, the amenities are good, and the price is reasonable. It's also close to both the shops and the water. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

My Aunty and I spent a night here recently, and the location was right in the heart of Nelson bay. The staff were wonderful, and our room was clean, cozy, and lovely. They'd provided towels, soap, minibar snacks, tea, coffee, and biscuits too. The service was exceptional. I'd happily recommend the motel and come back.

Check-in and checkout were very easy, and it's a quiet location overall. I was here for work and found the room had what I needed for a short stay, including plenty of pillows and blankets. The bed was comfortable enough. A couple of loud, drunk people trying to get into their room did wake me up, though.

I spent three nights here in December 2023, while I was in town for a tournament. The bathroom was dirty, the shower tap didn't work so I couldn't shower, and the broken soap holder was dangerous. There were very noisy neighbours in the next room at 4am. I asked for some reimbursement and was brushed off. A woman who went into my friends' room walked straight back out and refused to stay because of its condition. Worst place I've stayed. Never again.
