Marty's @ Little Beach

The pool was really well designed, with plenty of shallow spots for little kids, and it was an easy walk to two beaches. The whole family loved the location. The rooms are close to the pool, so you can hear it, but there aren’t too many rooms and the noise stayed at a reasonable level. This family-friendly place exceeded our expectations. Our room was modern and clean, and the kitchenette had a full-size fridge and everything we needed apart from an oven. There was no bath, but the bathroom was lovely and seemed newly updated. The staff were all welcoming and friendly.

This is about Unit 9, and I don’t recommend staying there. The beds, furniture and kitchen are quite old, and the website photos don’t match what it’s like in reality. We were told there would be Wi-Fi before booking, but the connection was awful. I came with my family and still had to work for two days, but the internet didn’t work at all. Nelson Bay itself is a great holiday spot, with lots of good beaches, cafés and restaurants.

The kids loved having free run of the little play area out back. I did wish there was a bath, since my toddler hates showers, but that’s just personal preference. It was a little pricey for off season, though I’d definitely stay again. The place was clean and quiet, and the welcome was warm. The location was great, between one beach with waves and another without.

We had a lovely stay in a clean, cute two-bedroom place on the first floor. The beds were comfortable, there were big showers, and the air conditioning in the main living area worked well. We could walk to two beaches, the staff were friendly and the kids loved the nice pool. It had everything we might need and was a great spot.
