Lure Nelson Bay

The receptionists gave us such a delightful welcome and were respectful and kind, which made us feel comfortable right away. Our upstairs and downstairs room was really good, with space for my sons to have privacy, and the ocean view was perfect. The pool was very convenient too. We stayed yesterday and already want to come back.

Room 216 was disappointing for a three-night stay. The windows don’t open, there was mould in the shower recess, and the tiles got slippery with shower gel. The bedside power cord was frayed, there weren’t enough power points, and there was no plug for the bathroom sink, so we couldn’t wash up properly. The fridge door scraped the carpet, and three huge wardrobes wasted space that could have made the room more comfortable and usable. The pool ladder wasn’t ridged and needs securing. Thank you to Matt for the kind, welcoming greeting.

We had a lovely couple of days at Oaks Nelson bay, and Carol was very hospitable. I left my watch behind, but the team helpfully posted it to my address within a week. We really enjoyed our time at Oaks!
