We were in town for a mate’s 50th and shared a stay here with friends. The grounds are really beautiful, and the classic 70s motel rooms were clean with everything working. It was quiet and comfortable too. The bed matters a lot on a road trip, and both my partner and I slept really well. Our friends in the room next door had the same experience. We’d happily book here again when we’re back visiting my friend in Westbury.

An honest, standard motel with some nice extras ❤️ The staff were friendly, and the room was a good size and clean. I appreciated the attention to detail, like water in the fridge, biscuits topped up each day, and the beautiful roses and planter boxes.

A bit older, but it did the job for an overnight stay. The room was clean and very comfortable, and the lady at Reception was lovely.

The room was quiet and cozy, which made the stay relaxing, but maintenance was a real problem. The shower’s handheld head kept dropping because its holder was loose, and the tap handles wobbled and came off in our hands. We also found a pair of socks under the bed while checking out, clearly not ours, which makes me think the room may not have been cleaned thoroughly between guests.

I come to Gippsland for work every couple of months and usually drive through Moe to stay in Warragul. I’d assumed there was no reason to stay here beyond seeing my clients, but I was wrong. The motel is great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the area is beautiful. 100% recommend staying here.
