Blue Wren Lodge Waratah

Not easy to get there by public transport. The lodge looks okay and the area seems pleasant, but booking at Blue Wren Lodge on Sunday evening was the wrong decision for me. I cancelled within 2-3 minutes and gather the full cost of the booking will now be piled on. That’s a bit rough when you’re a 70 year old OAP pensioner.

As my first accommodation after moving to Australia, this motel was a choice I’m really happy with. Room 6 had a lovely view from the window, and the bed was clean and comfortable. The washroom was spotless and had all the necessary amenities. The motel is surrounded by trees, so it’s calm and quiet, while the nearest stores are just 5-10 minutes away. Rooms are cleaned daily if you hang the tag on the door. There’s a well-equipped kitchen for preparing your own meals, plus parking for 3-4 vehicles on the property and extra parking in front if needed. I really enjoyed my stay!

Having my own clean, comfortable room gave me privacy and made the place feel like a little home away from home while I was relocating. As a solo female traveler, I really enjoyed staying here. It’s in a fantastic location, close to everything I needed, so settling in and getting around was easy. The space had everything I needed for a smooth stay. I had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere quiet and well located.

The lodge gave my kids and me the peaceful, comfortable place we desperately needed. After everything we’d been through, I wanted to get them away from the toxicity in Sydney, and this was a chance for us to breathe and just be together. We were moving between accommodations and I contacted the Guest Services Team to ask about checking in before the standard 3 PM time. They immediately sent clear online check-in instructions, and within 15 minutes I had an SMS guiding us into the accommodation. The process was smooth and efficient, and they didn’t ask for an early check-in fee, which was a real blessing. We could get out of the heat and settle in. Huge thanks to the Guest Services Team for their kindness, understanding and generosity. Their hospitality made a world of difference for my family. I highly recommend Blue Wren Lodge Waratah for its customer service and tranquil atmosphere.
