The quiet and the sound of the ocean made our stay, just lovely. The Palms is also well placed for Mossman and Port Douglas, with Cape Tribulation an easy and beautiful day trip. We enjoyed the local spots too, especially spectacular Mossman Gorge and the surprisingly good Hartleys Crocodile World. Such a unique, beautiful location and a fantastic house. We'll definitely come back.

The pool and outdoor entertaining area were lovely, and the house itself was set up really well. Right on the beach, it feels quiet and secluded, yet Port Douglas is only about 15 minutes away if you need something. Definitely worth staying.
