I booked this house for a two-week family reunion. Halfway through the stay, I found out I’d been sleeping on a filthy mattress stained with urine. I contacted Niche Holidays, expecting them to get in touch with the homeowner and have the mattress removed and replaced straight away. Instead, cleaners came and changed the bed linen, and that was it. The house might have been lovely 20 or 30 years ago, but now it’s old, worn and grubby, especially the kitchen appliances.
