Noosa Quays

The view looking out over the Noosa River is the best, and the location is excellent. Our unit was clean and well appointed. The hardworking, friendly management made our stay relaxed and pleasant. We’ll be back if we can get in.

Both apartments we stayed in over three weeks were spotless, well maintained and well appointed. The first one, though, overlooked the Quamby Place restaurant precinct, and we’d booked hoping for somewhere quiet away from Hastings Street. Groups of restaurant patrons smoked right under our window, while Ricky's air conditioning or generator made a relentless hum. Early morning deliveries, rubbish collection and the daily leaf blower visits before 7am added to the noise, so it was never quiet there. The next apartment was away from the restaurant noise, but had another problem: it faced the Noosa River main access channel. On weekends, power boats sped past the bedroom balcony window heading for the channel. From 4.30am to 7am there must have been at least 50, and the long weekend was even worse. This would be a great place to holiday if it weren’t for all the ongoing noise. Pack ear plugs if you don’t want to be woken early or kept up late by the restaurant patrons.

The peaceful feel here was a real highlight, especially early in the day before people head out on the river. The grounds are kept neat, and the place is clean, comfortable, and handy to everything. It works really well for families right by the river. There’s a restaurant, fish and chip shop, deli, and coffee shop next door, and the ferry stops there too, with just one stop to Hasting St. Thank you.

Clean, beautiful accommodation in a perfect spot. I wish I could rate it 11/10. Thanks for such a lovely stay, I’ll definitely be back.
