Picture Point Apartments

The views are spectacular, so try for a penthouse if one’s available. We had a fantastic time at Picture Point Apartments with the kids. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with modern amenities, and the kids loved having Netflix and Stan. They also had a great time in the pool and spa, where they made little buddies from here and overseas. The new manager was friendly and happy to help. We’d stay again.

Apartment 12 was a bit average, unfortunately. The coffee machine didn’t work, and the replacement didn’t work either, so it took another two days to get one that did. The rooftop spa was nice, but its motor wasn’t working, leaving us sitting in tepid water. Some lights were out because the bulbs were missing, and the fridge shelves were cracked. The manager said they were getting a new fridge soon. The second and third bedrooms were very small. On the plus side, the views are really good and the main pool was nice for a swim after a long day. This could be a five-star location if maintenance were kept up. These issues shouldn’t cost much to fix and would bring the place back to standard.

Robert was quick to bring anything we needed, and the apartment was spotless. We stayed for eight days in early July 2017 and really enjoyed it. The west-facing rooms gave us lovely winter sunsets most days, and the place sits conveniently between Noosa Heads and Noosa Junction, both an easy walk away. It was spacious, well furnished, and generously stocked, even with cooking ingredients. My only small gripe was the terra cotta floor, which felt hard underfoot; a big rug in the living area would have helped. We’d happily recommend these apartments and plan to return.

The grandchildren were thrilled when rainbow lorikeets and kookaburras came to visit the balcony. Rob, the manager, was so welcoming, and Hastings St is only about a five-minute walk down a bush track. Great spot.
