Soundhaven 4

The first night was enough for my parents to leave Soundhaven Noosa. They had saved for a long time for their first holiday since covid, then had to pay a lot to book somewhere else. They were charged for the full 10-night booking despite staying just one night, and the provider offered no meaningful resolution or compensation after they raised the problems. Noise made it impossible to sleep. The property is on the main road, and pipes dripped loudly all night. There were other maintenance issues too, including cracks running along a wall between rooms. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the pool was green and horrible, despite assurances that it had just been cleaned. The website and promotional photos set expectations that the actual facilities and condition of the accommodation didn't meet. It was a long way short of the basic maintenance standards and the impression created by the marketing. It was anything but a 'Soundhaven.' I'm deeply disappointed and wouldn't recommend staying here. I hope management fixes these issues and takes guest satisfaction seriously. People considering a booking should know what my parents experienced. Don't stay here, you'll be disappointed.
