The walks along the river are lovely and easy to reach on foot, and everything else is nearby. I also loved that the place welcomes pets. My two-night stay was wonderful, from booking over the phone with Marsha right through to checkout. The room was nicely set up, and the music and little touches meant a lot since I was there to remember a loved one on their first anniversary. Marsha deserves a special mention for being so welcoming and lovely throughout. I highly recommend At the Sound and will be back.

The new owners made our stay extra special. We’d had a poor experience with the previous owners, and even though the new ones weren’t involved, they went above and beyond to make amends. They’ve been outstanding to deal with. The rooms look great and are well equipped, the facilities are fantastic, the staff are amazing, and the location is great. If you haven’t visited recently, give the new owners a chance. They’re doing an outstanding job.

Trent, Maxine and Sooki were such friendly, accommodating hosts, and the location is perfect. We stayed for a few nights over New Year’s Eve 2025 and absolutely loved it. At the Sound exceeded our expectations as soon as we walked in. The modern, clean room looked out over beautiful gardens, with a sparkling pool and heated spa just around the corner. The new management team were welcoming, passionate about the resort and provided great service to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The rooms, gardens and pool area were all clean and tidy, and the resort is pet friendly. It’s an older resort-style place in a fantastic spot along noosa parade, not far from noosa main beach and famous hastings street. Head the other way to enjoy the noosa river and the peace and quiet of noosaville and gympie terrace. A great holiday location and a great experience. Cheers Rob.

Trent and Max, the owners, were amazing. We were struggling to find a room that would take pets, and they helped us out at the very last minute. The rooms are spotless, the staff are really friendly, and the location is perfect. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re travelling to Noosa. Five stars 👍🏽
