Offshore Noosa Resort

The apartments are across from the river and just a short walk from local cafes and restaurants. We were lucky to spend 4 nights at Offshore Noosa Resort over the Australia Day long weekend. The service, facilities and location were excellent. The BBQ area is well maintained, and there’s a perfect pool for little ones as well as a larger one surrounded by palm trees for older children. We booked a front facing unit on Gympie Terrace, with views across the Noosa River. It’s a beautiful spot, with cafes and restaurants right at the door. The unit had comfy beds and a really comfy couch in the open plan living space, plus a clean en-suite and bathroom with a washing machine and dryer. There’s a lift for those pesky bags and secure undercover parking. The pool and hot-tub were lovely, and Sue and John, the managers, were friendly and helpful. Everything was as you’d expect.

Sue and John surprised us with full river views, which I really appreciated. It was a memorable early birthday present, as I’m turning 55 years old in January, 2026. I’m level 2 on the autism spectrum (nerodivergent), with sensitivities to taste and visuals. My autism also makes the pain from my Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia worse than neurotypicals pain. My wonderful support worker, Rebecca, came with me. The place was clean and cool, with wide verandahs/balcony and elevators to the second and third floors. The pool was clean, safe to walk around and not slippery. There were five small negatives for me: no air-conditioning in the second bedroom, not enough toilet paper, bathrooms with tired-looking mould stains that seem unlikely to go away, no on-site disability aids such as shower chairs, and beds that were extremely firm, too firm for someone with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis and level 2 autism. It wasn’t noisy, just the usual restaurant noise that dies down at the appropriate time. Thank you so much, Sue and John, for our stay. Hugs!

Off Shore apartments is in a handy spot near restaurants and bars, with lovely river views and the waterfront right across the way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
