Pelican Beach Resort

We stayed in “The Beach House,” decorated throughout with a beautiful, classy beach theme. The unit had everything we needed, and the pool area with its spa and sauna made the stay close to perfect. The beds were super comfortable, and the soft, gorgeous sheets made me feel like I must be staying somewhere very expensive. I’d definitely return next time we go to Noosa.

We were in unit 17 for two nights. The rooms were clean, the beds were fine, and cafes and restaurants were an easy walk away. The backyard, though, was filthy and unusable, and there wasn't really an outdoor spot to sit with a drink. The sliding doors still had children's handprints on them. Supplies were very sparse: no hand soap or dishwashing liquid or tablets, just two toilet rolls for four people over three days, one towel each, and no beach towels. There was one shampoo and conditioner container and two body gels, with no top-ups unless you paid for more. We could have brought extra things if we'd been told, and would have felt more comfortable.

The rooms were neat, clean and presentable, and the facilities were excellent. Even with the loft section closed for renovations, it was still a good place to stay. The free WiFi was so unreliable it was barely useful. We kept getting disconnected and the speed was frustrating. That was the one thing holding this back from five stars.

Being just a short stroll from Gympie terrace made it easy to get around, and the complex has good facilities. My wife and I are very happy with our accommodation at Pelican Beach Resort. We arrived yesterday for the Noosa Festival of Surfing, which we come to Noosa for every year. It's our first stay here, and both the room and complex are clean and tidy. Great accommodation for the price.
