We only got a room here because someone cancelled at the last minute, and I’m glad we did. After ten days touring Tassie, this was easily the cleanest motel we’d stayed in. The location is superb, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful.

Booked through trip.com and it was easy. The place was clean, the staff lovely, and the shower had great hot water. There’s food nearby too. Getting to the main town by the pier takes about a 30 minute walk or a $2.70 bus ride. The guest laundry is only open during normal hours, which is awkward if you’re out touring all day.

At Argyle Motor Lodge, the rates were reasonable and staff came in each day to clean and top up supplies. The rooms themselves were simple and clean, which I really liked.

A quiet spot, which I prefer to the CBD. Our room had everything we needed and was clean, with service each day. We enjoyed staying here, thanks.

The location is excellent, and I’ve stayed here twice now. It is a bit dated, but the rooms are good, the beds comfortable, and the place extremely clean. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
