The Oasis One Mile beach

The food was insanely delicious and the service was excellent. For sunset photos, Boat Harbour was just a two-minute drive away, or the beach was another short five minutes away. The venue itself is stunning, all greenery and fairy lights, and feels like stepping into a calm, separate world. We fell for it on our first visit, which was drizzly and rainy. When we came back on a sunny day, we knew it would be beautiful in any weather. Glenn, Dee, and Michele were accommodating, easy to work with, and answered countless questions while helping us bounce around ideas. We felt supported before and during the wedding. Thank you, Glenn and Dee, for sharing your beautiful venue, and Michele for helping organise our dream wedding. We can’t thank you enough for such a magical weekend. Our wedding was on a rainy day, but the staff at the Oasis did everything they could to keep it running smoothly. Our guests couldn’t stop saying how perfect it all was, and we have wonderful memories of the day. We used the Micro package at the Oasis One Mile Beach. The two-night stay gave us time to settle in, unwind, and explore at an easy pace. We got the relaxation we were hoping for. The king size bed was very comfortable, and the accommodation had everything we needed, with a lovely mix of coastal, earthy style and modern quality amenities. We’ll recommend the place and come back soon. Nature lovers will enjoy the greenery and birdsong. We wandered the winding paths past lush plants, lovely sitting spots, waterfalls, and water features, with frogs and other sounds all around. We also saw Shetland pony’s and donkeys at the neighbouring property from the hot tub, with dappled light coming through the trees. We went to the beach and explored the paths on a mountain walk. We brought our adult son along the first night, and he liked the buzz of the nightlife at nearby shoal bay after we checked out the surrounding shops, restaurants, and attractions. The next morning we went to Nelson Bay, only five minutes away, walked through the markets, and had a divine lunch at the famous Atmos restaurant, a five-star contemporary Greek restaurant overlooking the beach. We even saw dolphins frolicking by the water’s edge. After another beach visit, we returned for our restorative yoga and sound healing session. Em was a beautiful, welcoming facilitator, and the softly lit yoga room was gorgeous. We floated back to our accommodation, warmed up our doggy bag leftovers from lunch, had another dip in the hot tub, and settled in for the evening in a private, peaceful setting. A great spot if you want to chill out. The cottages have comfortable, modern interiors and everything you need to be self-contained. There’s plenty of room between them, and the bushland and gardens are peaceful, secluded, and well maintained. The beach is a 15-minute walk away.
