The forest and birds give the lodge a beautiful setting, with lots of potential. But music played loudly from 8:30am until 9pm, including outside rooms 6 and 7, and it seriously disrupted our stay. I came expecting to relax in nature, but instead had beat-heavy music to listen to all day. People book a forest lodge to get away from noise, and having a speaker outside a room completely breaks that peaceful atmosphere. The birds already provide a much nicer ambience than a playlist, so this seems easy to avoid. When I raised it, the response made it seem like I was expected to deal with the discomfort myself as a paying guest, which only added to my frustration. The lodge could be wonderful, but this decision and the way it was handled ruined the stay. I hope management reconsiders and lets guests enjoy the peace they came for.

We stayed for the long weekend, and the lodge was a relaxing little slice of Pemberton. The restaurant had amazing views, lovely, helpful staff and very good food at pretty reasonable prices. It was prepared perfectly, and we didn’t wait long. There’s also a chance to walk around the lodge and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s a perfect base for exploring around Pemberton. The camping guests have just one toilet and one shower, but both were extremely well maintained and felt like home. Customer service was welcoming and friendly too.

There’s so much greenery and nature around, and heaps of kangaroos. The restaurant was very good, and all the facilities were clean and working properly. I only stayed one night, but I’d definitely recommend a stay here.

We only stayed one night, but I’d highly recommend this wonderful spot in the south west. The restaurant food was amazing. It isn’t cheap, but I thought it was well worth it. Ingos was also kind enough to share some of his cooking skills with me.

The restaurant Chefingos was excellent, with delicious food, and the staff were all lovely and helpful. We also really enjoyed the beautiful wildlife and a stroll around the grounds, or a drink in the lounge. The rooms could use a little TLC, but had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed after several days of walking. Such a lovely setting for a stay in Pemberton.
