The outlook was lovely, and the chalet felt private and peaceful even with other chalets nearby. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the accommodation was great value. There was a coffee shop close by, but it wasn't open while we were there, Monday to Wednesday. A lot of wineries were closed on those days too, so check ahead.

After the long drive from Perth, stepping out into the backyard of my unit was an unbelievable sight. The private lake glowed in the golden sunset, birds sang in the trees, kangaroos and joeys emerged from the bushes, and the moon rose behind the forest. It was an enchanting way to get away from the crowds and be close to nature. In my opinion, this place is better than Karry Valley resort. The location was another bonus, close to Pemberton town, Manjimup, Northcliffe, Walpole, Denmark, Augusta and Margaret River. The new owner, Mr. Philip, was a friendly host who took good care of us throughout the stay. We'll surely come back to catch up at your lovely place over some beers.

The policy at Pemberton Lake View Chalets is firmly no pets, to help protect the farm-stay setting and wildlife such as kangaroos and blue wrens. The property gets high ratings, often 9/10 or above, for its lovely lake views, fireplaces and peaceful feel, but pets aren't allowed.

There’s a big lake on the property, and the owner provides two kayaks to use on it. He’s been the new owner for three months and is a really friendly, caring person who seems to want everyone to have a great time there.

We stayed three nights and found the cabin very comfortable and clean. The log fire was lovely, and the view across to the lake was beautiful. The owners were friendly, helpful and obliging, and they work hard to keep the chalets in such good shape. All of that made for a really relaxing break in the south west.
