The rock and roll theme gives you lots to look at, and the views are great. We enjoyed our two nights here. The house was well appointed, including a cooking and breakfast pantry, and it could sleep 14, which would be handy for a big group. My one gripe was the outdoor deck furniture, it was covered in spider webs so I didn't really want to sit out there.

Gerard was a pleasant, helpful host, and the views were wonderful. The place was spacious, clean and comfortable, with plenty of breakfast provisions and fascinating rock and roll memorabilia. My friend and I thought it was the best accommodation on our Tasmanian trip, and we've recommended it to friends who travel.

There was plenty for a get together, with a cozy lounge, big family room, verandah and BBQ, plus a great view of Penguin. The place had everything we needed and sleeps up to 14 across five bedrooms, so it works well for family or friends.

Penguin is beautiful, and the house was comfortable and really nice. I stayed about seven years ago and had an amazing time. Gerard was fantastic. If I ever make it back to Tasmania, I'd return to Penguin and definitely stay at High on Penguin.
