Beachcomber Peregian Beach

We spent five days in Unit 6, and my daughter and I found the two-bedroom place comfortable and a good fit for us. It was hot and humid, so having air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living area, plus ceiling fans, made a real difference. The hosts were there when we arrived and clearly took care to have everything clean and in order. We were welcomed with juice and small snacks, and there’s covered parking close to the unit. Internet was fine for streaming. I did miss having an ocean view, though the beach is very close. It’s a lovely unit in a lovely seaside town, and I’d stay again.

The beach is close by, and I liked having a desk at both the front and back. There were nice little extras too, chocolates in the fridge, chips and mints.

We had three nights in ground-floor Room 4 with our two dogs. They could play in the fenced courtyard, and even join us around the pool as long as they stayed on leads. The room is fully tiled, with a big comfortable bed, a good shower with strong pressure, and a kitchen with a large fridge-freezer, stovetop and oven. Dog bowls and beach towels for them were provided, and the IGA shopping area is nearby. There wasn’t much hanging space for clothes, which might matter more on a longer stay. We’ll definitely come back.

The owners are so welcoming, and the apartments have lots of thoughtful touches that make them feel homely. Ours was clean and spacious, with a small private grassy courtyard. The nearby beach allows dogs off leash, which makes this a fantastic spot for pet-friendly accommodation. This is definitely my go-to on the Sunny Coast.
