We stayed for several nights, starting Jan. 6/26. The unit was good and had what we needed to cook our own meals. It’s centrally located, so we could easily walk to King's park and the Northbridge area. The free Perth bus network is nearby, as is transit to the airport. One thing to know if mobility is a concern: getting into the shower requires a high step over the tub.

We didn’t need a car because the hotel is right downtown beside the bus station. The room had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, and the staff were helpful. I enjoyed having a gym. The pool needed updating, and work on it had started while we were there. I’d stay again.

We spent 20 nights here over Christmas and New Year while visiting our daughter and her partner, and had a very pleasant stay. The staff were wonderful, polite and helpful throughout, and the room was fantastic and very clean. The apartments’ kitchens are well equipped. We even prepared a full Christmas lunch without any fuss. The hotel is ideally placed for the CBD and public transport. The bus station is within 50 metres and Elizabeth Quay train station is only 100 metres away. Get a Transperth card, as it makes getting around the area simple and very cheap.

It was easy to get around from here, with Elizabeth Quay Station only a short walk away. The apartment had plenty of space, a very comfortable bed, and a full kitchen with air-con, a fridge and washing machine. There’s also a pool, sauna and gym in the building, which made things convenient.

We emailed the hotel six months before our trip to ask about early check-in, since we were coming from the UK and expected to be awake for more than 27 hours. When we arrived, reception seats were all taken and there was no early check-in. We were sent to the restaurant next door and had to buy drinks while waiting over an hour. Room 318 was badly dated and needed care. The sofas were so stained that I asked for sheets to cover them, and the receptionist tutted at me. The night before checkout, at 20:30, the manager called to offer a bottle of wine as compensation. It was supposed to be included with our booking, but we never got it at checkout. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, and it doesn’t deserve the rating it claims.
