Discovery Parks - Coogee Beach

The staff were friendly and the location is good, but the amenity block was disgusting, with people leaving things unflushed and not cleaning up after themselves. We booked our motor home for three nights and knew there were many permanent residents, as well as warnings about theft on site. Even so, it happened to us.

Omeo wreck, coffee shops, and restaurants are all close enough to reach on foot or by bike. We had a fantastic weekend here, and the location was perfect. We were advised to lock our things away because the park is accessible, which makes sense. We'll be back for another little weekend escape close to home.

The location is pretty good, but after seven nights, the experience didn't come close to matching what we paid. Our caravan site was the worst, with bandicoots around at night, and the park felt dominated by long-term residents rather than tourists. We were also uneasy about safety, since anyone, including junkies, could walk in at night. I know some situations are hard to manage, but guest safety should come first. Making the place more appealing would help too. We definitely won't return. Good luck.

We stayed a couple of nights on a powered site, and Carl deserves a special mention. The staff were fantastic, helpful, courteous, and efficient. Thanks for going the extra mile for us. We really appreciated it.
