Fremantle Village

The caravan sites are roomy and it’s a fairly secure spot, though people can walk in from the street. Cars can’t just enter, thanks to the boom gates. It’s close to central Fremantle and not too noisy. The toilets are clean, including the older, dated ones, and clean is what matters most.

The small van area was a real surprise, and seems ideal for backpackers. The staff were great, and both the sites and amenities were kept clean and tidy. It’s also so close to town. I’d happily stay again.

There’s a good bike path along the beach route into the city, and the bus out front takes you towards Perth and the trains. Admin staff were pleasant and efficient. The toilet block is an old demountable and pretty ordinary. At check-in there’s very little room to park more than one 20.6m caravan, and the busy road alongside could be a safety concern if several vans are queued.

I’ve been coming here for 7-8 years, and this caravan park keeps getting better. The amenities and camp kitchen are spotless, and the new gardener is doing a great job with the grounds. Reception staff are always helpful and do their best to meet your needs. It’s the best caravan park close to Perth and the beaches. Keep up the good work!
