Garde Hotel and Warders Cottages

The best hotel service my husband and I have experienced, and we stay in hotels often. Everyone was professional and genuinely warm, welcoming us as soon as we arrived and making us feel nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were comfortable, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully laid out. Being right in the heart of Fremantle made it easy to walk everywhere, and the continental breakfast had everything we needed. We’d absolutely stay again and recommend it.

We spent a lovely weekend in Freo at the Warder's Terrace rooms. The old world charm came through even with the beautiful decor, and the stay was really relaxing. Staff were amazing and very helpful. The continental breakfast was a welcome extra, and for a small additional cost you can get a hot dish and barista-made coffee. We also stopped by The Gimlet Gin Bar, a cool little place, and got a complimentary drink as hotel guests.

A great place to recover after a day sightseeing. The beds were comfortable and the showers hot, and even though our room was near the street and the restaurant next door, we didn’t hear noise from either. Nice extras included a complimentary minibar, an evening G&T, and continental breakfast in the morning. The rooms were cool, the staff friendly, and the location was great. What a lovely hotel.

The room amenities were impressive, and dinner and breakfast were both delicious. We also enjoyed the massage and the excellent sauna. Staff made us feel welcome throughout, with great service from arrival through check-out. Celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday here felt special: they gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and a birthday card for him, a thoughtful touch that made the stay memorable. We enjoyed every moment, and everything exceeded our expectations. Thanks for making the celebration so lovely. We’ll be back and would recommend the hotel.
