We went to a function here and the room was badly run. One bartender was serving 120 people, and the nine food trays we paid $900 for were small and only fed about 30. We had to hire our own speaker system because the pub’s wasn’t good enough, and buy our own spirits. A half shot of Southern Comfort with Coke cost $11.70. Everything felt overpriced, and the staff seemed about as cheerful as a wet wig. Seriously overrated.
The food was fantastic, especially the steaks, pasta, parmi and fish. There were six of us, and although nobody came to take orders at the table, that didn’t really bother us. We’ll definitely come back.
Friday and Saturday nights are why I keep coming back: they get excellent live bands. The place has a friendly, relaxed feel and is always a good time. Highly recommend it.
Always enjoyed going there, with a good bunch of blokes having a drink. Then Coles came along and tore it down. Greedy idiots, the lot of them.
The steak was great, service was quick, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend giving it a try.
