There are no lifts, just three flights of stairs, so anyone with mobility issues should avoid this motel. Staff were helpful and offered to carry our heavy bags. We booked through Flybuys rewards, and the stay was a big disappointment. There was a noticeable smell when we entered. The room was spacious, but the walls were dirty and the paint job looked like a small child had done it. The shower was outdated, its drains visibly full of junk, and the curtain was mouldy. Water splashed past it and left the floor around the toilet wet. There wasn't a floor mat, so walking around with wet feet was unpleasant. We had mugs for tea and coffee but no spoons or cutlery. No iron or ironing board either. The old box air conditioners were noisy and didn't control the temperature well. There was only one pillow per person and the bed was small. When you're on your way to the airport, all you want is a decent, clean shower.

I've stayed here several times for work and found it disappointing each time. There's a noticeable smell at the entrance, the rooms are dated, and the thin walls made it hard to sleep properly. You get what the 'budget' label suggests. The room was passable but could have been cleaner. They supplied a towel, but no bath mat, washer, soap or shampoo. There are no lifts, so I had to carry my bags up a couple of flights of stairs. The staff didn't seem enthusiastic.

My wife took charge of the hotel booking after a disastrous one, and landed me with this cracker. It was just one night after a late flight, so honestly, anything might have been okay. But at $180, I'd expect at least an effort to keep things clean. Instead, I was awake most of the night from banging noises, maybe a loose fence panel, roofing sheet, or a neighbour's headboard. D, could do better.
