The rooms were big and clean, with a balcony. Nothing fancy, but it was convenient for what I needed on an overnight trip to present at the university. I prefer staying in the city, and this location suited me. Nearby restaurants have a nice atmosphere when open, though they close early. I’d recommend it.

The hotel itself was nice and clean. Our room was spacious and modern, with a wonderful balcony, and the neighbourhood was very quiet. We were also welcomed with complimentary soft drinks. I was upset to return to our room on January 1 and find it hadn’t been made up. Staff said it was because of the public holiday, but I’ve travelled all over the world, including Australia and WA, and never had this happen. Nobody mentioned it the day before, and it wasn’t on the website. The housekeeper also hadn’t stocked the room the previous day, knowing housekeeping wouldn’t happen, so we ran out of toiletries, coffee and sugar. I was going to give no more than 3/5, but the Asian lady who checked us out was very kind and apologetic about the inconvenience, so I changed my mind.

The hotel is within Curtin University, and would suit students needing a temporary place while they look for a longer term stay, as well as visitors. The room was spacious, with places to eat right next door and a supermarket across the building. WiFi worked well. There’s laundry on site, costing 4 dollars to wash and 4 dollars to dry.

The room was a decent size and clean, and the location is great. Just be sure to check the parking details carefully. Parking is available, but costs around $17 per day. I believe it’s free after 4pm and on weekends.

A lovely breakfast with lots of good choices. The room was clean and nice, and the view across the nearby university parks was stunning.
