Pan Pacific Perth

The staff were top notch, very welcoming and helpful, and it’s a nice hotel for exploring Perth. The location is decent, about a 20-minute walk to the city centre, or you can take the free bus. Rooms are spacious, modern, nicely designed, and really pleasant. The downside is that the doors don’t close softly, so you keep hearing them shut along the corridor. In my opinion, the breakfast and dinner were poor quality and bad value. The buffet breakfast had cheap pastries and tasteless fruit, though the coffee stand was very good. Dinner has a wide selection, but the ingredients seemed low quality and you could tell when the meal arrived. There are several nice restaurants and cafés a 5-10 minute walk away, so it’s not a major issue.

The only real drawback was the late-night room service, which was very limited. Everything else was top notch, and I’d recommend the hotel and stay again. I was there for my birthday, and the friendly front desk gave me an extra drink voucher for the bar as a treat. The updated room was lovely, and the bed was extremely comfortable for both me and my partner, even though I like a softer mattress and they usually prefer a firmer one. Breakfast had lots of choice, and the omelette bar was a highlight.

We’re glad we gave it another try. From the woman at check-in to the caring manager, Rohan, the experience was pleasant. The renovated rooms are very good, and the whole property has a completely different feel and vibe now. Changing the breakfast area floor to one level also made it more comfortable. Breakfast itself could still be improved, but overall we had a very good stay.

We spent a week at Pan Pac Perth last November, and still remember the wonderful stay. The location was great, just a stone’s throw from the CBD, with amazing views. The staff were friendly and helpful, and remembered our names. Esaias made an extra effort to look out for our little one, and we always enjoyed chatting with him. Highly recommend, especially for families with young kids!
