The balconies have views over to the beach, with trees partly in the way, but they're still lovely spots for dinner or breakfast. Rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable, the shower is good, and there's a full kitchen with a microwave, though no oven. The fridge and freezer are full size. The pool area has BBQs, and the beach is only a two minute walk. There's easy off street parking and a bus stop out front. No air conditioning, just a ceiling fan, but it worked fine and the sea breeze was lovely. Bowls club and Oasis Mexican restaurant are five minutes away on foot. We walked along the beach straight to Stradie Hotel, which has recently been fully renovated and is excellent.

I was here with a group a few years ago and only just noticed I hadn't written a review. The view was beautiful, and the hotel room was cosy. I enjoyed my stay.

Beds were fine and I slept well. The shower cubicle is tired and could do with renovation. Air conditioning would be a nice addition. Stan TV was accessible.

The room had one double bed and one single, and felt like a proper apartment inside. It was good, and the hotel is really close to the beach with private beach access. There's no air conditioning or heater. You need to ask for a fresh towel, as they don't replace it.

The location is hard to beat, with the pub and beach both an easy stroll away. There's a beautiful pool and a huge sauna, and the shower has great water pressure. Rooms are standard and a bit dated, but come with everything you'd want and more. For the nightly price, I think it's really good value. There are fans supplied, but no air conditioning. Amazing place on Straddie, and I'll keep coming back.
