Pandanus Palms Holiday Resort

My sister was recovering from surgery, so we spent a week in villa 36. The management were wonderful and so helpful, and the apartment was very well kept and spotless. We could watch the beach and even see whales in the morning. I'd gladly stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

We booked two units, numbers 5 and 6, for 20/12/2025 to 25/12/2025. I'm sure they were the worst ones available. Unit 6 was extremely gross. The bin had built-up filth, there was mould on the blinds, the used toilet brush was filthy, and the door tracks were full of accumulated dust and dirt. The pillows and cases were extremely gross, dust covered every surface, and the broom was clogged with dirt and worn out. The air dryers were rusted, and the curtains were so dirty they stuck together. There was more I could add. Unit 5 had no aircon. The shower was over the bath, which was very precarious to get in and out of without a safety rail. The cushions had mildew, the bedroom blinds were dirty and dusty, and the clothes airer was rusty. The place was very different from the brochure and from other reviews.

Pandanus Palms is in a magical spot, with sweeping ocean views and the occasional kangaroo passing by. Villa 34 was faultless for us, and onsite managers Gayle and Wayne went above and beyond to make the stay memorable. We highly recommend it for a Stradebroke Island holiday and will be back.

The beaches are amazing, and we loved being close to nature with kangaroos nearby. Our holiday at Pandanus Palms resort was so relaxing. The rooms were clean, the whole resort was well maintained, and the staff were very helpful. We'll definitely go again.
