Pokolbin Village

We’ve stayed here twice now for family gatherings, and this time celebrated my 60th birthday. Our family used the large eight-bedroom house, which was comfortable, spacious, and made it easy to bring everyone together. We also hired the function room for a long lunch for a minimal fee. It was well set up, had plenty of room, and felt warm and inviting. Most of our 65 guests could stay onsite because there are different accommodation options, so the weekend felt relaxed and connected, without us worrying about logistics. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and made sure everything was in order. There’s lots of room on the grounds for the kids to run around. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the whole celebration flowed easily. A memorable place for a milestone occasion. Highly recommend, and we’ll be back.

Our renovated two-bedroom cottage had a spacious, comfortable living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, and an updated bathroom with a useful heat lamp. Outside were a barbecue, table and chairs, and a fire pit, where we could sit, chat, and look at the night sky on cooler evenings. We had a very pleasant three-night stay and were extremely satisfied. It’s a peaceful spot for getting away from the busy city. There are two pools, two tennis courts, and a complimentary laundry room, all of which guests can use free of charge. The location also made it easy to visit two wildlife parks, the Hunter Valley weekend markets, and a chocolate factory, with restaurants nearby. Booking through the official website was good value, especially with the special discounts for three-night stays. Depending on availability, guests may also get a room upgrade or late checkout. We appreciated that. Highly recommended for a quiet, comfortable getaway.

I booked three nights for my son and his partner’s anniversary, and the rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable. There are several restaurants and wineries within walking distance. A big thank you to Nicole in Reception and the ladies in housekeeping, who were willing to do anything for you. A hidden gem in the middle of Pokolbin at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended, 10/10 ❤️

It was so peaceful here, with birds to listen to and Kangaroos to see. We rented a one-bedroom villa because we needed a kitchen, and the space was perfect, with an amazing bathroom and balconies at both the front and back. The amenities were excellent. It was nice to have a nearby pool and a washing machine, and the short walk to the village for coffee made a lovely morning outing.
