Pup and Mark Neely know the Hunter Valley inside out, and their help arranging a personal, tailored itinerary made our getaway memorable. From the start of our three days at Splinters Guest House, we felt welcome and completely relaxed. The grounds are spacious and beautifully kept, almost like a park, with a pool, fragrant frangipani and iceberg roses. Pup and Mark take real pride in making guests feel comfortable. I’d thoroughly recommend Splinters Guest House for a proper escape.

We had a lovely weekend here using a gift voucher. They were welcoming and happy to answer all our questions about the valley, food and things to do. They also offered to restock the fridge and towels and make the bed. We were really impressed.

Real country hospitality. The owner is a genuinely caring person who goes above and beyond, and she made our stay so memorable. We enjoyed it so much that we’ll definitely return. The place is amazingly clean and comfortable, just fantastic.

Getting in was easy, with convenient parking, and the location was great. It was peaceful, the service was incredible, and the reception staff and others were friendly. The room was clean and tidy, with everything we needed.
