Discovery Parks - Mount Buffalo

Dee, the Park Manager, really came through when we needed to change our booking at the last minute. Without her help, we might not have managed to get away for our holiday. We always enjoy coming back to Mt Buffalo Discovery Parks: the location and facilities are great, and the employees are so helpful. Thanks, Dee. See you next year.

The kids had a ball tubing down the river, which was the highlight for us. We stayed on a powered site beside it, a great spot, and the park has lots of potential for families. It was busy enough that the toilets felt stretched at peak times, though manageable. Late-night partying also made it harder to enjoy the stay with kids. A beagle-like dog from a permanent site was allowed to roam and leave mess on other people's sites. Neighbours told us this had happened regularly and that others had complained, so it seemed plausible that the complaints hadn't led to any action. Better enforcement of the rules and more amenities would make a real difference.

Dee gave me the warmest welcome and was so helpful, with great tips on local sights and things to do. We stayed in a clean, nice cabin, and the river is especially lovely on a hot day. I’ll definitely book here for my next holiday!

We had a great three nights at the Discovery Mount Buffalo caravan park. Bright is a short drive away and absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky to catch the market while it was on. There’s plenty to do around the area, too. Dee and Vic were so friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to help make sure we and the kids enjoyed our stay. Thank you, we’ll be back! X
