I’d avoid apartment #5 and ask which number you’re getting before booking. It was extremely dirty and uncomfortable. The beds were harder than the floor, the pillows were cheap, the microwave was melted, and the bathroom was very dated and falling apart. The lounge was so dirty I had to sit on a towel to protect my clothes. I thought about leaving early, but I would have lost my money. Check my profile for the picture if it doesn’t show up automatically.

The place was generally very clean and tidy, and the location is very good. The tennis court racquet hire at 10$ each is too much. The room could use an upgrade, and I couldn’t get the shower hand piece to stay in the high position.

We got a generous upgrade from an appartment to a townhouse. It was spacious and comfortable, set well back from the road with bushland behind it. The kids loved the pool, though we didn’t have time to try the tennis court. Great value for money.

The room was very clean, better than we expected, and there was plenty of room to move around. They may call it budget, but it’s far from that. The owners and people running the park are wonderful and always happy to chat. After a long day of driving, the pool was a nice treat. The apartments are clean and tidy, with basic furniture and cutlery, though the beds felt a bit hard and springy. It’s reasonably priced for Port Douglas, about a 3 min drive to the Marina or Town centre, or probably 10 mins max on foot. There’s free onsite access to a decent pool, bbc and tennis court. Onsite parking is limited, but there’s plenty of overflow right out front. Not bad for a one or two night jaunt.
