The beds were super comfortable, and the pool was a great temperature and a relaxing place to spend time. We were only there for two nights on a road trip, but the apartment felt like somewhere you could live permanently. It’s an easy stroll to the town centre and close to the beach path. The reception guy who checked us in was really nice. Just keep in mind there are stairs, so if you have limitations, ask for a ground unit or level one. We had a great stay.

We were given an upgrade to a fully contained room, which was a lovely treat. Everything was clean and tidy, and the pools were very nice. The receptionist made us feel welcome, and the main shopping area was an easy walk away.

Reception was very helpful, and the pool area was nice. The place was relatively clean, with the beach within walking distance. The beds were very, very hard, though, and there was no doona, only a sheet and a small blanket in the closet.

The stay was OK for the price, but the room could use more care and a bit of TLC. When we arrived, there was a powerful bleach smell that was unpleasant and lasted two days. It then gave way to a musty sewerage smell, which seemed to come from the bathroom drain. I checked it and found it dirty and hairy. The bathroom floor was slippery, as though cleaning gel had been spilled or left undiluted. I tried to mop it up, but the old crusty sponge mop wouldn’t open. The bed was hard and there was no doona.

The only real plus was the location. The rooms felt worn and dirty, and the bathroom was very dated. There was a strong musty smell, and dead plants had been left in the room. Reception staff were friendly, but we didn’t get the extra bath mat we asked for.
