Cherry Plum Cottages

We’ve stayed here a few times, and Arrondoon at Cherry Plum Cottages is our happy place. The hosts are welcoming and generous, know the area well, and are easy to reach if you need them. Otherwise, they leave you in peace to enjoy your holiday. The garden is immaculate, with sunny and shady places to sit, and you’re welcome to pick the fruit when it’s in season. The cottage is always spotless, comfortable, and well equipped for self-catering, with quality toiletries, local preserves, and bottled water generously provided. The beds are like sleeping on clouds. We love it here and have already booked a longer stay.

We had a warm, cosy two-night stay in Ardlie cottage, full of thoughtful little touches. The garden was beautiful, and the location was peaceful yet close to the town centre. Dianne was very friendly and welcoming. We’d definitely recommend booking a stay at Cherry Plum Cottages.

Dianne, I love your beautiful cottage! You’ve thought of so many little extras, from shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to bread and milk. I was delighted to be allowed to pick apples from your trees, too. The bed was comfy, and everything I could possibly want for a night away was there. The acreage, gardens, alpacas, and birds made the stay even more pleasant, even though it’s not far from the main street. It was so peaceful. Thanks for all the effort you’ve put into making the cottage comfortable. I highly recommend it for some quiet time away.

The garden was lovely, and we enjoyed sitting out on the veranda. It was an easy 10-15 minute walk into Port Fairy. Our two-bedroom cottage was next door to the one-bedroom one, with good-sized rooms and a welcoming, homely feel that suited the property's age. Dianne had left thoughtful extras, including robes, toiletries, tea, coffee, biscuits, jam, bread, milk and bottled water. My husband and I had a lovely four-night stay. Thanks for having us!
