We left feeling recharged after a perfect weekend away. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated, with a calm, quiet, elegant feel and an amazing outlook from both the room and dining room. Town and walks are conveniently close. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the bed very comfortable, and the products lovely. Staff were friendly, and Adriana was happy to bring extra water. The only small snag was that the power points by the bed made the phone charger a bit hard to reach. Highly recommended!

A warm, friendly welcome and freshly cooked gourmet breakfast, with unlimited coffee and tea and shortbread. The house and setting are picture perfect, and the living room is lovely. Our bedroom was spacious and the bed comfy. Definitely would go back.

We had a delightful weekend at Oscar’s, staying in a beautifully appointed riverfront room and getting to enjoy the unique, elegant house and grounds. Our hostess was second-to-none, and everything exceeded what we expected. If you and yours deserve a special break, I’d suggest Oscar’s. You won’t be disappointed.

Breakfast was delicious, with cooked-to-order choices including pancakes, bruschetta, bacon and eggs, and omelette, plus homemade granola, poached pears and vanilla bean yoghurt on the buffet. The dining room has a stunning view over the Moyne river and moored boats, and the receptionist was very helpful, offering to book a table wherever we chose. Rooms were serviced daily and felt elegant. They were accommodating when we called ahead to say we’d arrive late, with no hassle at all. One suggestion: a bigger sign would help, as we drove past several times looking for the place in the dark. Tea making facilities in the room would be nice, though not essential.
