The location and the house itself were great, and we couldn't fault those. But don't expect the luxury promised in the advertisement. It felt stripped back, with only the bare minimum of furnishings, clinical bedding and a basic kitchen. There was an Aldi coffee machine, but you can't buy Aldi pods in Port Fairy, and none were supplied for the price we paid. The BBQ ignition was broken, and we couldn't find a match or lighter either.

The excellent view and location can't make up for how much this house leaves to be desired. It isn't luxury. The ovens were filthy, the BBQ didn't work, and there were no cushions for the outdoor recliners or coffee pods left as a nice touch. It's a shame to see the property deteriorate so much. Look elsewhere.

Other reviews got it right. The furniture is old, stained and dirty, and the cutlery, plates, ovens and BBQ were dirty too. There was no gas and no bin bags.
