Navigators Motel

I stayed one night in room 9. It was a decent size, set up well, and had a good sized bathroom. Pretty good overall. The smoke alarm and what I’m guessing is the skylight were covered. I’m 6 foot 2, and the stair handrails only came up to about my thighs, so they could be higher. The bottom checker plate steps felt fine going up, but shallow and a bit slippery when wet on the way down. The stairs could use brighter lighting, including some light on the bottom steps.

We’ve stayed here a few times when visiting for medical reasons. This time, the manager and a lovely lady helped my husband carry our things from the car to the room. I couldn’t help because I’d recently had a hip replacement and was using a walking stick. Thank you both for helping us.

The manager was so helpful when I mentioned I’d left my hat at another hotel. He put it in my room once it arrived, a small gesture that made a big difference while I was busy visiting my mum in hospital all day and into the night. After hours check in was super easy. The beds were very comfortable, with extra blankets and pillows, and the shower had good pressure. The location was perfect, and I slept like a baby.

I arrived at 9 pm without the instructions email from the booking app, and Michael answered the phone to explain everything and help me find my room. The motel is lovely for a budget stay, very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The friendly, kind service was much appreciated after a calm eight hour drive from Adelaide. Grateful 🙏 Sophia
