The patio was cute and the hostess communicated well, and the place was comfortable enough for a short two-night stay. Lighthouse beach is nearby, with a cute little shopping center just across the street that has a good breakfast spot and a few other options. The main part of town is about 10-12 minutes away, so you definitely need a car. The building itself was very old and outdated, and the walls were VERY thin. We could hear the people next door and above.

The property was very clean and the house was nice. It’s less than a 10-minute walk to the beach, though the climb back is steep, which shouldn’t bother surfers. There’s a coffee shop, groceries and a Chinese Restaurant right nearby. There are no pool facilities for socialising after the beach, and the balance of beds to bathrooms wasn’t ideal.

It felt like a perfect home away from home. Ross was great throughout, from booking right through to departure, and we’ll definitely come back.

Beautiful place to stay, and the owner was easygoing. We loved it and can’t wait to come back. Definitely recommend staying there. It’s close to close and an easy drive into Port Macquarie.
