This was absolutely horrible. About five minutes after getting into the room, I found that the kitchen light didn't work at all. The bedroom lights and fans were on one remote, so turning off the light in one room turned on the light in the other, and the fans worked the same way. With no working kitchen lights, it felt unliveable. We asked for a refund because we felt it was unsafe to stay there, and were promised a full refund. I'm still fighting to get it. My lawyer has sent video footage of all the issues to the council and health and safety board. Once my lawyer has finished dealing with this, the videos will be uploaded to YouTube and a link provided.

Terrible experience. I booked a room, but when I got there nobody answered the phone, even though I left a message. The place looked closed for redevelopment, but bookings were still being taken through the agency.

Parking was limited, so we had to leave the car on the street. There are a lot of rules, including a fee if you leave rubbish in the room, and you're expected to be quiet after 7pm. The place is very old, the beds were hard and uncomfortable, and the lounge was filthy. It looks a lot better in the online pictures.

Average at best, though the shower was awesome. The blankets were unclean, with hairs on them, and there was hair on the dinner plates too. The place needs some work throughout and a good clean.

At least the place was clean, but it's very old. Some vertical blinds were missing, so people on the street could see in. There was also fairly disturbing domestic noise from upstairs. I was glad to leave.
