The building was stunning, and my friend at first didn’t believe this was the pizza place 😆. The wood fired pizzas were perfectly cooked and so tasty. We had the BBQ chicken, house special, and garlic cheese, and they were all amazing. A hidden gem and one of the best pizza places!!

David and Kathy looked after us so well, with genuine hospitality and great food in a historic setting. For a great pizza and a drink in beautiful surrounds in Port Pirie, Carn Brae is a hidden delight. Just look out for the turret. Highly recommend.

Best food I’ve eaten in my six weeks in Port Pirie, I’d say. The pizza is awesome by anyone’s standards, an absolute flavour bomb, with real pepperoni from the butcher and freshly grated pecorino.

The mushroom pizza was the best I’ve had, that’s the secret sauce here. Erin is definitely not in this kitchen. The house is really cool, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Such a pleasant experience, it was the highlight of Port Pirie.

Don’t let the outside put you off. Head down the side lane and you’ll find a great little pizza place, with lovely atmosphere, friendly attentive staff, and great pizzas. What a find in Port Pirie. Highly recommend Carn Brae Port Pirie, and we’ll definitely come back next time we’re in town.
