It’s so peaceful here, with a lovely garden and a great view, and there’s easy access to the little beach and the ferry back to Paynesville beach. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and welcoming. Nerita is a perfect host and had thought of everything we might need.

I only went to look at the rooms, rather than stay, and Rita was warm and welcoming. Her home is beautiful, and I think you’d be very happy here.

We loved how peaceful and tucked away it felt, even though everything was close by. The room was very clean and well equipped, with lots of yummy goodies provided. Our bedroom was large, with a comfy bed, ensuite and wardrobe, and there was a separate sunroom for breakfast and food, plus a shaded verandah for watching evening come in. The ferry was just a five minute walk away, with gum trees around us and the lake right beyond the back fence for a swim or paddle. Koalas sometimes come into the trees over the fence, kangaroos visit the surrounding streets, and we could watch rosellas, cockatoos and correllas feeding from the window each morning. Nareeta was a very friendly, kind host.
