Leichhardt Farm Cottages

We’d stayed at Leichhardt twice before and loved the location, so we booked a third visit and paid in full, planning to come back as soon as we could. Then the pandemic stopped our trip to Launceston. We couldn’t leave W.A because the government might have refused us re-entry. When we asked for a full refund, Leichhardt turned us down. After several emails, they offered 50% at most, and we lost over $1000. Other Launceston accommodation providers refunded us in full, and we booked with them again. We would have returned to Leichhardt too if they’d refunded us. I normally wouldn’t leave a bad review, but here we are. The owners are among Launceston’s wealthiest families, so be aware that if you need to cancel, you may struggle to get any money back.
