The family room’s floor space was a little tight, though it would be fine for a short stay. The owners were friendly and clearly take pride in the property, from the maintained garden beds to the barbecue area. Everything in the room was very clean, especially the bathroom. The kitchenette had a clean kettle, microwave, cutlery, and tea and coffee. The shower had great pressure, and body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were provided. The hairdryer worked well and looked new. We could sit outside at the table and chairs, and the covered parking right in front made unloading quick and easy. It’s also an easy walk to fast food spots and a large shopping complex. Highly recommend.

For one person, $145 a night felt a bit steep for such a basic room. The electric blanket didn’t work, and one bedside lamp flickered. There was quite a lot of traffic noise from the main road. Some guests were loud outside late at night and early in the morning, though that’s not the motel’s fault. The room itself was clean and nice, with a fridge, microwave, kettle, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and coffee, tea, and sugar. The woman at the office was lovely and checked people in quickly. Decent enough for a night, but expensive.

The family rooms seem suited to a couple with two children, rather than a larger family. It’s an older place, but clean and tidy. There’s an OTar servo next door, with McDonald's and a KFC nearby for an easy meal. Parking is right in front of the rooms, and there’s space for a trailer too. There’s also a pool area for warmer weather.

The photos gave a misleading impression. The motel is very old and dated. We upgraded to a deluxe room, but I still wasn’t sure it was worth it.

The location was great, with very little traffic noise, and yes, I’d stay again. It’s basic accommodation with dated interiors, but it isn’t a resort. The place smelled of bleach, which at least reassured me it was sanitary. The bed was okay, and the bathroom was clean and mould-free. Towels were supplied, along with a microwave, plenty of coffee sachets, long-life milk, and complimentary biscuit packets, a nice little extra.
