Leisure Inn

Ravi, the duty manager, made check-in easy. He was professional, friendly, and very helpful, explained the room deposit clearly, and kindly let us check in around 1 pm instead of the usual 2 pm because our little one was exhausted. The location is fantastic, with supermarkets and shops a short walk away. From the outside, Leisure Inn looks a little unusual as accommodation, across from Chemist Warehouse with the driveway going through Dan Murphy’s car park. Once inside, everything was straightforward. The rooms are a bit dated but spotless, with a super comfortable bed and all the essentials. There were a couple of hiccups, but the staff handled them exceptionally well. We were served the wrong meal, and Ravi apologised on behalf of the new front staff member, sorted out the right dinner, and gave us a complimentary drink. The next day, some power outlets weren’t working and the fridge had issues, so duty manager Emma offered us a complimentary dinner. It was amazing. Joanne (Aunty) from housekeeping was lovely, warm, and friendly to chat with. The staff made the stay memorable. We’ll definitely return and have already recommended Leisure Inn to family and friends.

I had a wonderful evening, and the positive atmosphere rubbed off on me. I didn’t stay in a room this time, but found the place friendly, with a short wait to be served. Ella was behind the bar. She greeted me with a smile, listened carefully, got my order right, and was cheerful, respectful, and well mannered. I was very happy with her service. Ravi was also welcoming and polite, and our conversation felt genuine, not rushed or like an inconvenience. Later Ravi brought my food over and recognized me from the previous day, when I’d been quite upset and sitting alone. He took the time to check in and ask how I was doing. It was a lovely touch from someone who sees regulars. It was nice to be recognized and feel valued, and like he genuinely cared. He didn’t linger or impose on my evening. I know staff can get busy, so I didn’t want to hold him up, but that personal moment ended with a big smile and happy vibes.

I only popped into The Leisure Inn for a couple of drinks, but ended up having a great time. It has a relaxed, friendly vibe and proper WA pub energy, with plenty of room whether you want a quiet drink or are catching up with mates. The staff were unreal, welcoming, quick, and happy to have a laugh instead of just going through the motions. My meal came out fast, fresh, and much better than a standard pub feed. Good prices and cold beers, too. Big shoutout to Jess and the crew working today. They made the whole visit top tier. If you’re in Rockingham, this place is a must. Cheers, legends! 🍻
