Hamptons On The Bay

I wish the booklet had mentioned there was only a limited amount of hot water. I was left with conditioner in my hair and soap on my body, and that wasn’t how I’d hoped to end the day.

That ocean view through the large window was amazing, and we could watch both sunrise and sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed, and having a beach nearby made the location even more convenient. It was a serene, comfortable place to relax, and our stay was overwhelmingly positive. One thing the owner should fix for future guests: the hair conditioner provided was expired.

The view was much better than I expected. I’ve stayed at places advertised for their views only to find them just okay with some obstructions, but from our cabin we could look right over the bay. We could enjoy it outside on the deck or from the couch or bed. The bed was very comfortable, and the linen, towels, and decor were all good quality. I was concerned the nearby road might be noisy, but it was quiet, with only the occasional car audible from the deck. There were basic cooking supplies, just a hot plate and microwave, and the town was only 10min up the road for supplies or dinner. I really loved this place!

The cabin was tidy and cosy, and good value. Breathtaking is the only way I can describe the bay view, which was even more spectacular in person than in photos. I wasn’t bothered by traffic noise because the sound of the sea was the highlight.
